Feedskip support

A little help.
Then back to your people.

The iPhone app is coming soon. Here’s how the current iPhone build works, what to expect and where to get help.

Getting started on iPhone

  1. Open Feedskip and tap the Instagram card.
  2. Choose Messages and finish Instagram’s own sign-in on instagram.com.
  3. Use the native section controls to switch between Messages and your own profile.

An Instagram account, internet connection and iPhone running iOS 17 or later are required. Feedskip does not create a separate Instagram or Feedskip app account.

Change your available sections

Open the gear icon, then Available sections. Your selected scope controls which Instagram pages can open. Chosen profiles and conversation media may remain available. Feedskip does not guarantee that every recommendation within every allowed page is removed.

Use a text-first conversation layout

Open the gear icon → Conversation layout. You can reduce conversation pictures while keeping photos and attachments inside conversations available.

Try the optional Screen Time shield

Open the gear icon → Block Instagram app. Authorize Screen Time, choose the installed Instagram app, then enable the shield. You can disable it in the same screen. You do not need to enable this to use Feedskip.

Message notifications

Instagram message notifications are not available in the current iPhone build. Keep Instagram’s own alerts enabled if you need them. Those alerts may open the original Instagram app.

A page will not load

Check your internet connection and Instagram’s availability. Return to Messages and retry. Instagram controls its website, login and features, which can change independently of Feedskip. Calls and other native-only features are not promised.

If you are editing your profile, save changes before leaving. An app or web-content process can be discarded by iOS; unsent drafts are not guaranteed to survive a force-quit.

Signing out or deleting an Instagram account

Sign out through Instagram’s website. Deleting Feedskip does not delete your Instagram account or provider-held data. Manage Instagram account deletion and privacy requests through Instagram. The app has no separate Feedskip server account to delete.

Your launch updates

The free launch list lets you choose iPhone, Android or both. After signing up, save your personal Manage email updates link. Use it to unsubscribe. If you no longer have that link, email support@feedskip.com from the address you signed up with.

Signing up does not send a confirmation or verification email. The privacy page explains what the list stores and how to request access or deletion.

Contact and feedback

Email support@feedskip.com. For app issues, include your iPhone model, iOS/app version, the steps that led to the problem and the exact visible error. Do not send passwords, verification codes, session cookies or private conversation screenshots.

Availability and cost

iPhone is coming soon. Android is in development. There are no public download links yet. Launch updates are free; public app pricing has not been announced.
